Accountant – eCommerce Company Jobs in Dubai at AL RIYADY CORPORATE SERVICES FZE LLC
Responsible for managing the financial operations of the company’s e-commerce business, including recording transactions, reconciling payment gateways, monitoring inventory-related accounting, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions for e-commerce operations.
- Reconcile sales from online marketplaces, websites, and payment gateways.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer refunds.
- Monitor inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and stock reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, merchant accounts, and general ledger balances.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Required 5 years experience in the UAE with at least 2 years in an e-commerce or online retail environment.
- Experience reconciling transactions from platforms such as Amazon, Noon, Shopify, or other e-commerce marketplaces.
- Familiarity with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, PayTabs, Telr, Amazon Pay, etc.) and merchant account reconciliations.
- Familiarity with VAT regulations and UAE accounting practices is an advantage.
Salary offer from AED 8,000 to AED 10,000
