Accountant cum Procurement Officer Jobs in Dubai at HDI HUDSON DESIGN & INTERIORS
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant cum Procurement Officer to manage the company’s accounting functions while overseeing procurement activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in the construction/interior fit-out industry.
Key Responsibilities Accounting
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Coordinate with auditors and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and company expenses.
Procurement
- Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Maintain supplier database and procurement records.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and procurement.
- Experience in Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or Contracting is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE Driving License (Preferred).
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
- Experience handling local and international procurement.

Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
