Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing client invoices, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue monthly client invoices accurately and on time.
- Manage accounts payable by recording purchases, verifying vendor invoices, and coordinating timely payments.
- Maintain accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger with proper documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and ensure timely deposits.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments and management to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Odoo, or other ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
