We are Hiring: Accountant for a Premium Ladies’ Fitness Gym!
Are you a numbers wizard with a passion for wellness? A growing Ladies’ Fitness Gym is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team.
What You Will Do
- Daily Bookkeeping: Handle day-to-day general journal entries and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Tax Compliance: Manage the preparation and filing of VAT and Corporate Tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
- Revenue Management: Apply proper Revenue Recognition principles, particularly managing deferred revenue from gym and cafe memberships and personal training packages.
- Payroll Operation: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, salary/commission calculations, leave management, and end-of-service settlements in compliance with labor regulations.
- Café & Inventory Management: Track F&B stock, perform inventory reconciliations, manage supplier payables, and monitor product costing
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and vendor accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to support management decision-making.
What We Are Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CPA affiliates or members are welcome).
- Systems Expertise: Hands-on proficiency using QuickBooks software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax laws, Payroll, inventory management and revenue recognition standards.
- Experience: Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within retail, hospitality, or fitness.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Ladies professional only.
Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
