Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with at least 2 years of relevant experience to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with financial regulations. The candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end accounting tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Handle VAT calculations, filing, and compliance (UAE experience preferred)
- Process payroll entries and monitor expenses
- Assist during internal and external audits
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Good knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region
- Knowledge of VAT regulations
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA – partially or fully qualified)
