Position: AC Technician for Bus
Job Description
Diagnose and repair AC systems in heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Utilize specialized
tools and equipment
for AC service, including gauges, vacuum pumps, and leak detectors. Install and replace AC components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators, with
precision
and care.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions for
quality assurance
. Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure
efficient workflow
and timely completion of projects. Stay updated with the latest AC technology and industry advancements through continuous training and workshops. Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining issues and solutions to clients for enhanced satisfaction. Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while performing repairs and maintenance in a workshop or on-site.
Assist in training junior technicians in best practices and troubleshooting techniques for heavy-duty vehicle AC systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or automotive technology preferred. Minimum of 3 years of
hands-on experience
in AC systems for heavy-duty vehicles, preferably in a UAE environment. Certification in refrigerant handling and recovery, such as EPA 608 or equivalent, is essential. Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus for
effective communication
.
Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing complex AC systems, with a focus on heavy machinery. Excellent
problem-solving
abilities, capable of troubleshooting under pressure and providing timely solutions. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of work. Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces.
