Summary
Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and commercial air‑conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Setup — Install split units, window ACs, ducted systems, VRF/VRV units, and related components (piping, wiring, insulation, drainage).
- Maintenance & Servicing — Perform routine preventive maintenance: cleaning coils, filters, blowers, checking refrigerant levels, testing electrical components, and ensuring efficient cooling performance.
- Troubleshooting & Repair — Diagnose faults in compressors, motors, thermostats, PCB boards, sensors, and electrical circuits; repair or replace defective parts.
- Refrigerant Handling — Safely handle, charge, recover, and leak‑test refrigerants (R22, R410A, R32, etc.) following UAE environmental and safety standards.
- Electrical & Mechanical Work — Conduct wiring, capacitor replacement, motor servicing, fan alignment, and mechanical adjustments.
- Ducting & Ventilation — Assist in duct installation, sealing, airflow balancing, and ventilation system checks.
- Customer Interaction — Communicate issues clearly, provide cost estimates, explain maintenance needs, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Documentation — Maintain service reports, job cards, and records of materials used.
- Safety Compliance — Follow company safety protocols, use PPE, and adhere to HVAC industry standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling cycles, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Skilled in using HVAC tools: gauges, vacuum pumps, multimeters, leak detectors, brazing tools.
- Problem‑solving and diagnostic ability.
- Good communication and customer‑service skills.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work, climbing, lifting, and working in hot conditions.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air‑Conditioning or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in AC installation and maintenance.
- Certification in HVAC or refrigerant handling (preferred).
- Valid UAE driving license (advantage).
Work Conditions
- Field‑based role; requires travel to customer sites.
- Work may involve high temperatures, confined spaces, and extended hours during peak season.
- On‑call duty may be required.

- Timely completion of service calls.

Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
