Accountant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage our accounting operations with customers, maintain accurate financial records, and provide essential financial reporting. As a food distributor working with Key Account customers (retailers) and wholesale clients, this role is crucial in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Records & Bookkeeping:
- Prepare accounting records for use by client’s management.
- Perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting for clients.
- Ensure that books and records are maintained accurately, including adjusting journal entries.
- Client Management:
- Manage financial operations for the assigned customers.
- Handle deductions from customers (BDA, sellout & promotion support).
- Provide customers with monthly account statements.
- Ensure timely payments are received from customers.
- Match the balance with customers on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that deductions from customers are accurate and properly accounted for.
- Ensure that clients do not exceed their credit balance.
- Review clients’ account statements and request confirmations.
- Follow up and bookkeeping for past-due accounts.
- Maintain excellent communication with the customers, addressing any financial inquiries or issues.
- Account Payable & Receivable:
- Oversee the Accounts Payable function.
- Handle Account Receivable reporting.
- Follow up on past-due accounts and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Maintain financial operations reports accurately.
- Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Perform monthly preparation, review, and analysis of assigned account reconciliations.
- Handle financial reporting and month-end closing.
- General accounting functions including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end accrual preparation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience of a minimum of 2 years in accounting.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Integrity and responsibility.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in the food distribution/FMCG industry is a plus.

نحن نبحث عن محاسب دقيق وذو مبادرة للانضمام إلى فريقنا. سيكون المرشح المثالي مسؤولًا عن إدارة العمليات المحاسبية مع العملاء، والحفاظ على سجلات مالية دقيقة، وتقديم تقارير مالية أساسية. كموّزع مواد غذائية يعمل مع عملاء حسابات رئيسية (تجار التجزئة) وعملاء الجملة، فإن هذه الوظيفة حاسمة لضمان الدقة المالية والكفاءة التشغيلية.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
سجلات المحاسبة والمسك الدفاتري:
– إعداد سجلات المحاسبة لاستخدامها من قبل إدارة العملاء.
– القيام بالمسك الدفاتري والمحاسبة الشهرية للعملاء.
– التأكد من أن الدفاتر والسجلات يتم عملها بدقة، وكذلك قيود التسويات.
إدارة العملاء:
– إدارة العمليات المالية للعملاء المخصصين.
– التعامل مع الخصومات من العملاء (اتفاقية الأعمال، التصفية والترويج).
– تقديم كشوف حسابات شهرية للعملاء.
– التأكد من استلام المدفوعات من العملاء في الوقت المحدد.
– مطابقة الرصيد مع العملاء شهريًا.
– التأكد من أن الخصومات من العملاء دقيقة وحسابها بالبشكل صحيح.
– التأكد من عدم تجاوز العملاء لحدود الائتمان الخاصة بهم.
– مراجعة كشوف حسابات العملاء وطلب التأكيدات.
– متابعة ومسك الدفاتر للحسابات المتأخرة.
– الحفاظ على تواصل ممتاز مع العملاء، ومعالجة أي استفسارات أو مشكلات مالية.
الحسابات الدائنة والمدينة:
– الإشراف على وظيفة الحسابات الدائنة.
– التعامل مع تقارير الحسابات المدينة.
– متابعة الحسابات المتأخرة وضمان جمع المدفوعات في الوقت المناسب.
– الحفاظ على تقارير العمليات المالية بدقة.
المصالحة والتقارير:
– القيام بالإعداد الشهري والمراجعة والتحليل لمصالح الحسابات المخصصة.
– التعامل مع التقارير المالية وإغلاق الشهر.
– القيام بوظائف المحاسبة العامة بما في ذلك إدخال القيود، واعداد دفتر الأستاذ العام، وتسوية الحسابات، وإعداد المستحقات الشهرية.
المؤهلات والمتطلبات:
– درجة البكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو المالية.
– خبرة مثبتة لا تقل عن سنتين في المحاسبة.
– الطلاقة في اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
– مهارات تواصل قوية.
– إجادة استخدام برامج ماكروسوفت اوفيس.
– النزاهة والمسؤولية.
– القدرة على التعامل مع مهام متعددة وتحديد الأولويات بفعالية.
– الخبرة في مجال توزيع الأغذية / السلع الاستهلاكية سريعة الحركة تُعتبر ميزة إضافية.
