Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Lead to take full ownership of Fintler’s business development function, including revenue generation, pipeline management, and strategic partnerships. This role is accountable for delivering revenue targets, building a high-quality pipeline, and ensuring strong alignment between sales and delivery. The Business Development Lead will play a critical role in positioning Fintler as a trusted financial partner for SMEs, startups, and institutional stakeholders.

Fintler is a cloud-based finance partner supporting SMEs, startups, and institutions with end-to-end financial solutions including accounting, bookkeeping, fractional CFO services, and capital raising support.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Ownership & Pipeline Management
- Drive revenue growth through structured business development efforts
- Build and manage a strong, qualified pipeline aligned with company objectives
- Lead the full sales cycle: outreach, qualification, proposal, and closings.
- Focus on acquiring high-quality clients with long-term potential
Strategic Partnerships & Channel Growth
- Build and manage relationships with key ecosystem players (accelerators, funding institutions, government entities)
- Identify and develop partnership-driven opportunities
- Strengthen referral and network-based revenue channels
Client Qualification & Commercial Positioning
- Apply structured client screening to ensure alignment with Fintler’s service model
- Understand client financial needs and position appropriate services (CFO, accounting, capital raising)
- Prioritize quality opportunities that align with delivery capacity
Deal Conversion & Execution
- Improve pipeline conversion through strong qualification and follow-up
- Lead proposal development in coordination with the delivery team
- Ensure alignment between commercial commitments and delivery capabilities
Governance & Process Discipline
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM pipeline tracking
- Ensure compliance with internal business development processes and approvals
- Follow structured governance in proposal issuance and client onboarding
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and support Business Development Associate
- Build and improve BD processes, playbooks, and reporting structures
- Contribute to strengthening the overall business development function
Deliverables:
- A structured monthly closing and reporting calendar with documented procedures.
- Regular reporting packages and reconciliations as outlined above.
- Updated tax compliance tracker and E-Invoicing readiness report
- Updated policy and procedure documents for Finance Operations.
- A final handover report summarizing key achievements, findings, and recommendations
