Job Title: Workshop Coordinator
Duration: 12 months
Location: UAE
Role Purpose:
Coordinates all workshop activities for maintenance and repair of the company’s fleet – heavy-duty trucks, trailers, vans, and MHE. Manages scheduling, documentation, spare parts, and communication between mechanics, drivers, and management to minimize downtime and ensure UAE regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan/schedule preventive and corrective maintenance; manage job cards and repair prioritization
• Support fleet/MHE performance monitoring and breakdown recovery coordination
• Manage spare parts sourcing, vendor relationships, inventory, and purchase requisitions
• Maintain compliance documentation (RTA registrations, insurance, permits), process invoices, monthly accruals, petty cash, and traffic fines
• Act as liaison between drivers, mechanics, and logistics team
Qualifications & Experience:
• 3-5 years’ experience in workshop coordination, fleet, or transport operations (FMCG/logistics preferred)
• Hands-on experience with workshop documentation and fleet management systems (ERP/FMS)
• Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of UAE traffic/RTA regulations
