Wood Painter & Polisher With joinary experience Jobs in Dubai at Zan interior design
Responsibilities:
- Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, cleaning, filling cracks, and repairing defects.
- Mix and match paint, stain, varnish, lacquer, PU, NC, and polish colours.
- Apply primer, sealer, paint, stain, varnish, lacquer, and polishing materials.
- Perform spray painting and hand-finishing using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and polishing machines.
- Polish and refinish doors, cabinets, wardrobes, furniture, wooden panels, and other joinery items.
- Carry out basic joinery work, including cutting, assembling, installing, repairing, and adjusting wooden components.
- Read basic drawings, take accurate measurements, and prepare materials according to specifications.
- Install and repair doors, cabinets, shelves, skirting, wall panels, and furniture.
- Use woodworking tools and machines safely and correctly.
- Ensure smooth, even, high-quality finishes without scratches, bubbles, paint runs, or colour differences.
- Follow site safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in wood painting, polishing, and joinery work.
- Strong experience with furniture, cabinets, doors, wardrobes, and decorative wooden finishes.
- Skilled in PU, NC, melamine, lacquer, stain, varnish, and spray finishes.
- Good knowledge of joinery assembly, installation, repair, and finishing.
- Able to read basic drawings and take accurate site measurements.
- Able to work independently at the workshop and on project sites.
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED47,686.01 per month
