Wheel Loader Operator – Infra Jobs in Dubai at GBH International Group
We are seeking an experienced Wheel Loader Operator to join our infrastructure projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of wheel loaders for loading, transporting, and handling construction materials while ensuring proper equipment maintenance and compliance with company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the wheel loader safely and efficiently on infrastructure and civil construction projects.
- Load, transport, and stockpile materials such as sand, gravel, aggregate, soil, and construction debris.
- Feed materials into crushers, hoppers, and batching plants when required.
- Assist with site preparation, earthworks, backfilling, and material handling activities.
- Perform daily pre-start and post-operation inspections of the equipment.
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance, including checking engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, tires, brakes, and lubrication points.
- Report equipment faults, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Ensure materials are loaded and transported safely to prevent spillage or damage.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and complete daily equipment inspection and operation logs.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other equipment operators to ensure efficient site operations.
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and safe operating procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License or UAE Driving License (Category 4), as applicable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating a Wheel Loader, preferably on infrastructure or civil construction projects in the UAE.
- Experience in material handling, earthworks, roadworks, and site development projects.
- Knowledge of routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Good understanding of construction site safety practices and HSE regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.
