Job Description
Design and analyze water distribution and wastewater collection systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Conduct hydraulic modeling to optimize system performance and facilitate effective decision-making in infrastructure projects.
Prepare detailed engineering reports and specifications for both new and existing wet utility projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil and environmental engineers, to integrate wet utility designs with overall project plans.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate existing utility conditions and inform design modifications.
Stay updated on advancements in wet utility technologies and practices to continually enhance project effectiveness and sustainability.
Utilize GIS and other software tools to create detailed maps and models for utility planning and management.
Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities and the public, to address concerns and provide updates on utility projects.
Ensure quality assurance and control processes are adhered to during construction and installation of wet utility systems.
Manage project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates and identifying potential risks to avoid project delays.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is essential for technical proficiency.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable for credibility in the field.
At least 8 years of relevant work experience in wet utility engineering, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry practices.
Experience with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, SWMM, CIVIL 3D) is critical for effective system design and analysis.
Familiarity with local and national regulations regarding water and wastewater systems is necessary for compliance.
Strong project management skills, showcasing the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Should have KSA experiences.
