Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) | Doha, Qatar
We are looking for a qualified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding inspections in accordance with approved WPS, codes, and project specifications.
- Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections before, during, and after welding.
- Review welding procedures, welder qualifications, and inspection records.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, production, and client representatives during inspections.
- Verify repair work and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and project quality requirements.
Requirements:
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification (mandatory).
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Welding Inspector in fabrication, construction, or oil & gas projects.
- Knowledge of AWS, ASME, API, ISO, and relevant welding standards.
- Experience with welding documentation, NDT coordination, and quality control processes.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar with a valid QID and NOC are preferred.
