Welder – MIG Jobs in Mussafah at SWIFT TRANS GENERAL TRANSPORT
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead) on steel and other metals.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Material Preparation: Cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal parts using tools such as grinders, cutters, and torches.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect welds to ensure structural soundness and compliance with industry standards, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment and tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including the use of PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Indeed +3
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience as a MIG Welder or Fabricator.
- Skills: Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding, ability to read blue prints, and experience in structural steel or aluminum fabrication.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training/welding certification is a plus.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
