RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Management: Overseeing the daily operation of computer networks, including LANs, WANs , and intranets.
Security Enforcement: Implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches.
System Maintenance: Ensuring that network hardware, software, and peripherals function properly
User Support: Assisting employees with connectivity issues and network-related troubleshooting.
Disaster Recovery Planning: Developing backup and recovery plans in case of network failures or cyberattacks.
Installing and Configuring Networks:Setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware. Configuring network software and operating systems.
Monitoring Network Performance: Using network monitoring tools to track bandwidth usage and detect anomalies.Identifying and resolving bottlenecks to optimize performance.
Maintaining Network Security: Implementing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.Applying software updates, patches, and antivirus protection.
Managing Network Users and Permissions:Creating and managing user accounts with appropriate access levels.Enforcing security policies, such as password management.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnosing network outages and connectivity issues. Working with vendors and service providers to resolve complex problems.
Server Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems.Set up hardware components, including storage, network devices, and virtualization platforms.Deploy and configure server applications, databases, and web services.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage backup strategies using tools like Veeam, Acronis, or Windows Backup. Test disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure business continuity.Restore data and systems in case of failures or cyber incidents.
User and Access Management: Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles (Active Directory, LDAP). Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and access control policies.
Manage virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
Maintain cloud-based server infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Optimize resource allocation for virtual machines (VMs) and cloud instances.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures. Generate reports on server performance, security incidents, and resource usage. Provide recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.

Networking skills: Ensure the company’s networks run smoothly and to ensure end users have the connectivity to perform their jobs.
Database administration: Access and manage this critical asset securely.
IT security: IT security skills to protect your company’s data and systems from these threats.
Cloud management: The qualities of different cloud services and the security issues surrounding the cloud can help you create an effective and safe cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills: Identify and resolve any problems with programs and systems within their company’s network.

End-user training: IT administration entails managing networks and helping other employees. Therefore, it’s important to have end-user training as an IT administrator.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of UAE IT Head experience and more than 10 years of total experience
Male candidate between the ages of 30 to 45 preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED7,500.00 per month
