Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing the project planning and controlling.
Managing assigned individual contributors in various departments (Production, Installation, Operation, Maintenance, and Projects) to ensure the completion of work in a timely and efficient manner.
Review and utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets and plan effective strategies for the finances of the Projects.
Strategic Input – Liaison with Management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage Project operational plans.
Communication- Monitor, manage, and improve the efficiency of support services such as I.T., H.R., Accounts, and Finance. Facilitate coordination andcommunicationbetween support functions.
Risk Management – Oversee organizational policies. Ensure health and Safety committee meetings are held and tasks assigned.
Planned, organized, and supportedproject managementand status review meetings.
Provide strategic oversight, coordination, and maintenance of identified projects.
Manage day-to-day activities, analyze statistics, and prepare reports.
Ensure that project requirements are gathered and analyzed by the projects department. Responsible for defining theproject managementstructure and overseeing teams of specialists.
Open to direction andcollaborative workstyle with a commitment to getting the job done.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
Facilitate projects across operations that align with company goals.
Evaluate current systems and procedures forcontinuous improvement.
Update management regarding progress and areas in need of improvement.
Prepare periodic written reports for Department Managers regarding project status and keep Senior Managers informed of project direction, renegotiating as necessary.
Make presentations regarding project direction and recommendations to Senior Department/Division Managers.
Prepare and check the basis of design, specifications, technical bid evaluation, and drawings.
Mobilize goods and services to initiate activities, including drafting and work specifications.
Ensure proper documentation of standard operating procedures.
Ensure that operational objectives are measurable and specific.
Monitor events as determined in the Monitoring &CommunicationPlan and update the plan as required.
Provide requiredleadershipat various construction levels.
Identify, suggest, and implement corrective actions to improve quality.
Monitor key staff for quality and timely execution of the project.
