Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring that all items are accurately counted and documented, using inventory management software to maintain accurate records.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency, implementing best practices in inventory storage to facilitate easy access and retrieval of products.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are securely packed and labeled correctly to minimize damage during transit.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits, using analytical skills to identify discrepancies and address any issues promptly to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse processes, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety checks and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in the training of new warehouse staff, sharing knowledge and best practices to ensure a smooth onboarding process and team cohesion.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and generate reports, providing insights to management for informed decision-making.
