- Receive and verify goods, ensuring compliance with invoices and specifications.
- Organize and arrange inventory for easy access and protection from damage.
- Conduct regular stock audits and prepare detailed reports on inventory status.
- Monitor shipping and receiving operations according to FIFO/FEFO systems as necessary.
- Prepare additional reports and manage inventory adjustments and returns.
- Planning and scheduling: Develop and implement daily and weekly production plans and task schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requests.
- Resource management: Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and ensure availability of raw materials and necessary tools.
- Quality control: Establish and apply stringent quality monitoring standards to reduce waste in materials.
- Team leadership: Direct supervision of supervisors and workers, evaluate their performance, and provide necessary training to enhance their skills.
- Maintenance and logistics: Monitor the maintenance schedule for equipment and tools to ensure continuous operation without interruption.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on production levels, efficiency, and any operational issues to elevate them to senior management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse management (preferably 2-5 years).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer software (Excel) or warehouse management systems (ERP/SAP).
- Ability to handle physical and organizational work pressure.
