Warehouse Manager – Retail Fashion & Lifestyle
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage and oversee the central warehouse operations supporting a diverse retail business with 16+ fashion, home accessories, and lifestyle brands and 75+ stores.
The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate SKU-level inventory management, timely store replenishment, stock availability, and smooth movement of products from warehouse to stores and other sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete warehouse operation, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, transfers, dispatch, and returns.
Manage inventory at SKU level, ensuring accurate tracking of style, product, colour, size, variant, and quantity.
Maintain high levels of SKU accuracy and inventory accuracy across all brands and product categories.
Ensure proper barcode scanning, SKU tagging, labelling, and product identification throughout the warehouse process.
Manage and monitor GRN, stock transfers, stock adjustments, returns, damages, and dispatch documentation.
Coordinate stock movements between the warehouse and 75+ retail stores.
Plan and execute timely store replenishment based on sales, stock levels, seasonal requirements, and merchandising priorities.
Monitor stock availability and identify fast-moving, slow-moving, ageing, and non-moving SKUs.
Conduct regular cycle counts, stock counts, and physical inventory checks and investigate discrepancies.
Analyse and resolve SKU-level stock variances, shortages, overages, damages, and system discrepancies.
Ensure accurate system inventory and alignment between physical stock and ERP/WMS records.
Manage stock allocation and transfers across multiple brands and locations.
Ensure correct storage and segregation of products by brand, category, season, collection, SKU, colour, and size.
Optimize warehouse space and ensure efficient bin/location management.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Buying, Retail Operations, E-commerce, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure stock availability and smooth operations.
Support new store openings, store closures, seasonal launches, promotions, markdowns, and major sales periods.
Manage high-volume inbound and outbound operations during new collection launches and peak retail seasons.
Establish and monitor warehouse KPIs such as:
Inventory accuracy %
SKU accuracy %
Order/picking accuracy
Stock variance
Receiving turnaround time
Dispatch turnaround time
Store replenishment turnaround time
Picking and packing productivity
Warehouse space utilization
Damaged/lost stock
Prepare regular warehouse, inventory, stock movement, and KPI reports for management.
Lead, train, schedule, and supervise the warehouse team to ensure productivity and operational discipline.
Implement processes to reduce stock loss, damages, picking errors, misplacements, and inventory discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company procedures relating to warehouse safety, security, stock handling, and inventory control.
Continuously review warehouse processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within fashion retail, lifestyle, home accessories, FMCG, or a multi-brand retail environment.
Proven experience managing a central warehouse supporting multiple retail stores.
Strong understanding of SKU management and inventory control, particularly within fashion retail where products are managed by style, colour, size, and variant.
Experience managing a large number of SKUs across multiple brands and product categories.
Strong knowledge of barcode systems, WMS/ERP systems, stock transfers, GRN, inventory adjustments, and cycle counting.
Strong understanding of stock reconciliation and physical vs. system inventory.
Advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to analyse inventory and warehouse data.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage a high-volume, multi-brand retail warehouse environment.
UAE retail or warehouse management experience is preferred.
