Main Responsibilities:
- Management of Receiving and Shipping: Oversee the receipt of incoming shipments from suppliers, ensuring compliance with invoices and technical specifications (quantity, type, and expiration date).
- Specialized Storage: Organize products within the warehouse based on their chemical properties (separation of corrosive materials from neutral ones, and storing hazardous materials in designated areas).
- Inventory Monitoring: Conduct regular inventory checks (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile actual stock with what is recorded in the computer system.
- First Expired, First Out (FEFO) Management: Implement the “first expires first out” policy to ensure that expired materials do not accumulate.
- Safety and Environment: Ensure the availability of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, eye wash stations) and adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain “Material Safety Data Sheets” (MSDS) for each product and update them regularly.
- Preparation of Requests: Prepare and equip requests for supplies or materials promptly to ensure continuous supply.
