Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging yoga classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Develop personalized yoga programs and modifications based on individual student needs, fostering a deeper practice and personal growth.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of yoga postures, alignment, and anatomy to guide participants effectively and prevent injuries.
Incorporate mindfulness and breathing techniques into sessions, promoting holistic well-being and mental clarity among participants.
Maintain a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, encouraging open communication and feedback to enhance student experience.
Continuously assess and adapt class structure based on participant feedback and progress, ensuring an evolving and dynamic practice.
Stay updated on the latest yoga trends and techniques, integrating new practices into classes to keep sessions fresh and inspiring.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Certified Yoga Instructor with a minimum of 200 hours of training from a recognized yoga school, ensuring a strong foundation in yoga practice and philosophy.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in diverse settings, demonstrating adaptability and a rich understanding of different student needs.
Proficiency in various yoga styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, or Ashtanga, allowing for a versatile approach to teaching.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students on an emotional level and create a supportive learning environment.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining postures and concepts clearly and effectively to enhance understanding.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide safe and effective guidance, ensuring student well-being during practice.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus, enabling communication with a broader range of students.
First Aid and CPR certification, demonstrating a commitment to student safety and preparedness in case of emergencies.
A passion for holistic health and wellness, inspiring students to embrace yoga as a lifelong journey of growth.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform yoga postures at an advanced level, serving as a role model for students.
