Job Description
Scope
This role will be responsible to all the cargo and shipments inside PSA BDP warehouses and others as well as handling transportation for various type of clients domestically and overland and will keep the security measures according to the different applicable legislations. The role will be reporting the product manager, dotted line with the Country Director.
Responsibilities
Warehouse:
Responsible for the Warehouse operations from a 3pl perceptive, candidate must have experience in the below:
Extensive knowledge in the various warehousing’s operations, SOPs, SLA and KPI.
Knowledge and experience with warehouse documentation and handling.
Experience in handling different type of Cargo (General, DG, FMCG, Pharma, etc..)
Billing and charges verification for the monthly warehouses’ activities
Communicating with clients and service provider to make sure all request are done on time and as per the agreed SOPs and KPIs
Meeting vendors, clients and inside teams
Support the regional team locally with new opportunities and requirement
Transportation:
Responsible for the transportation operations from a 3PL perspective, candidate must have experience in the below:
Truck booking as per requirements and follow ups – Frozen, chilled & Reefer.
Daily update and follow up to ensure job is done perfectly, with POD, DN signed stamped.
Billing and charges verification from Vendor and to clients.
Communicating with clients and service provider to make sure all request are done on time and as per the agreed SOPs and KPIs
QHSE and Compliance:
Building the team with knowledge on compliance, safety and environment.
Up-to-date knowledge and Understanding of Logistics Industry with quest to keeping self updated with the changes.
Job Requirements
Qualifications / Experience
Experience of minimum 5 years as warehouse and transport Executive
WMS, SAP (EMW+MM) & end to end 3PL operations – handling and understanding.
Dangerous goods and freight forwarding documentation knowledge
Knowledge of MS Office, warehouse management software.
