Job Summary
The ACMV Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems in commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. The technician ensures all ACMV systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of ACMV systems.
- Install, inspect, test, commission, and repair HVAC and ventilation equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Maintain and repair:
- Chillers
- AHUs (Air Handling Units)
- FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
- VRF/VRV Systems
- Split and Package Units
- DX Units
- Exhaust and Fresh Air Systems
- Ventilation Fans
- Carry out refrigerant charging, vacuuming, leak detection, pressure testing, and gas recovery.
- Clean and service evaporator coils, condenser coils, air filters, drain lines, and duct systems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and breakdown calls.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE regulations and company safety procedures.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and daily work logs.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades during maintenance activities.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
- Report recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

Pay: QAR1,800.00 – QAR2,000.00 per month
