Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Wall Painter to carry out interior and exterior painting works for residential, commercial, and facility maintenance projects. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, color matching, and finishing techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare walls and surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling cracks, and applying putty.
- Apply primer, emulsion, acrylic, enamel, and other types of paint as required.
- Perform interior and exterior wall painting.
- Mix and match paints to achieve the required color and finish.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Carry out touch-ups and repair damaged or peeling paint.
- Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas before painting.
- Ensure smooth, clean, and professional-quality finishes.
- Estimate basic paint and material requirements for assigned work.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment in good condition.
- Follow site safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Complete assigned painting works within the required schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wall Painter, preferably in Facilities Management, Maintenance, Construction, or Fit-Out.
- Strong experience in wall preparation, putty application, sanding, primer, and final coating.
- Knowledge of different paint types and finishing techniques.
- Able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to work on ladders or scaffolding when required.
- UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
