Walk-in Interview for Customer Support Jobs in Dubai at Saraya Marketing
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Officer to join our team in Dubai UAE. The Hygiene Officer will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene throughout the property, including guest rooms, kitchens, food and beverage areas, staff areas, and public spaces. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about local and international health and safety standards and will work diligently to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Hygiene and Sanitation Compliance:
Ensure that all areas of the property, including guest rooms, public areas, food and beverage departments, and staff areas, meet local hygiene and sanitation regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hygiene standards.
Oversee the implementation of cleaning protocols, ensuring the proper use of cleaning agents, disinfectants, and sanitizing procedures.
Food Safety & Hygiene:
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations in kitchens, dining areas, and food storage.
Monitor food handling, preparation, and storage procedures to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety.
Conduct training for kitchen and food service staff on hygiene practices and food safety standards.
Waste Management & Pest Control:
Oversee the property’s waste management practices, ensuring that waste is segregated, stored, and disposed of according to health regulations.
Manage pest control measures to maintain a pest-free environment within all areas.
Staff Training and Health Monitoring:
Provide ongoing hygiene training for all staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about cleaning procedures, food safety, and personal hygiene.
Conduct health and safety training, including PPE usage, proper hand-washing techniques, and safe chemical handling.
Compliance with Health Authorities:
Ensure the property complies with local authorities such as the Dubai Municipality, MOHAP, and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for hygiene and sanitation.
Stay up to date on any changes in health and safety regulations and adjust protocols accordingly.
Emergency Health Protocols:
Develop and implement emergency protocols in the event of health or hygiene-related incidents, including outbreak management and health concerns.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning schedules, staff training, and compliance audits.
Prepare regular reports on hygiene standards, issues identified, and corrective actions taken.
Qualifications:
Education:
Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP) or hygiene management is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in a hygiene or health and safety role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations in the UAE is essential.
Experience working across multiple departments (e.g., housekeeping, food and beverage) is desirable.
Skills:
Strong understanding of hygiene standards, cleaning protocols, food safety regulations, and waste management practices.
Ability to train, educate, and motivate staff to maintain high hygiene standards.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing health guidelines.

Full-time position with potential for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
The Hygiene Officer will work closely with senior management and department heads to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
