Waiter in Al-Rayyan, Qatar
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Waiter tojoin our teamat a restaurant in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage customer orders and serve guests with a friendly attitude.
Ensure that all orders are served on time and with the correct portion sizes.
Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, daily specials, beverage pairings, and preparation methods.
Offer suggestions for food and beverage pairings when appropriate.
Accurately record order details in the point of sale system.
Clear dirty dishes from tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
Follow all sanitation procedures as required by local health codes.
Ensure that allsafety protocolsare followed at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a Waiter or similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to workflexible hoursincluding evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time without becoming fatigued or uncomfortable.
Preference will be given to applicants who are Indian nationals or who have proven English language proficiency (written & spoken).
