Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Piano Teacher to join our music academy. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to nurturing students’ musical abilities, building strong foundations in technique, and inspiring a lifelong love for music.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s progress and goals.
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, competitions, and performances.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, Degree, or Certification in Music (Piano specialization preferred).
- Proven experience in teaching piano to beginners and advanced learners.
- Strong knowledge of music theory, sight‑reading, and technique.
- Excellent communication, patience, and motivational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to teach multiple genres (classical, contemporary, jazz, etc.).
- Experience preparing students for graded exams (e.g., ABRSM, Trinity).
- Familiarity with digital pianos, notation software, or modern teaching tools
