Overview of the position
We are looking for a talented video editor to become part of our team in Jordan on a full-time basis, as part of a training program aimed at enhancing your skills in content creation and digital media production. You will work with a dynamic production team on multiple projects that include commercial content, media reports, and promotional materials, with opportunities for professional growth and transition into broader editorial roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit video content from raw footage to final products with high quality according to company standards.
- Organize and adjust audio, tone, and dialogues to match the visual messaging of the content.
- Produce and edit short to medium-length clips for digital platforms (social media, YouTube, advertisements).
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure consistency in style and visual identity.
- Propose innovative editing ideas and develop narrative structures within projects.
- Manage project files and organize releases, documenting editing procedures.
- Participate in pre-production activities and experience various editing scenarios.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in media, design, multimedia, or a related field (e.g., Bachelor’s/Linguistics).
- Basic work experience or training in common editing programs (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects), with a portfolio demonstrating editing capabilities.
- Fundamental understanding of cutting, color grading, audio mixing, and preparing digital assets.
- Ability to work within a team and adhere to delivery deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, coupled with a proactive approach and quick learning ability.
- Proficiency in Arabic and good writing skills with quality assurance for descriptive narratives.
