Position: Vice President, Micro & Small SME
To assist the Chief mSMEs Officer with the initiation, preparation, processing and execution of project financing transactions for the bank’s mSME finance customers, thereby facilitating growth and expansion of the banking business.
Develop and maintain a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring that new relationships achieve maximum revenue within acceptable risk profile.
Ensure all relationships are in compliance with bank regulations and policies.
Manage the relationship with existing and potential target mSME and Business Sector customers and coordinate with the respective departments/units within the Bank to ensure processing of customers’ needs on a priority basis.
Supervise the identification of new sales/cross-sell opportunities, launch targeted sales efforts to bring revenues on board by ensuring coordination with the Director of mSME.
Assist in providing solutions to customers’ needs with respect to banking products.
Supervise the identification and selection of target partners for indirect financing.
Develop target penetration plan and negotiate terms with partner banks and enter into MoUs with respective entities.
Examine the strategic financing application submitted by the client and determine client’s eligibility for type and the amount of loan to be processed according to the financing guidelines set by the Bank.
Meet with applicants regarding their financial and project development concerns, negotiate guarantees, collaterals and conduct site tours.
Assist prospective and existing clients by receiving all customer applications and effectively addressing client concerns and queries on financing requests.
Prepare, review and execute complete and appropriate legal and security documents required for respective transactions assigned and ensure that such documents comply with the highest international standards, formats and requirements to protect the interests of the Bank.
Implement the ‘one-point of contact’ approach to respond to and resolve all customer needs and queries pertaining to project finance transactions.
Contribute to the provision of a high level of customer service by ensuring that all requirements for facilities are handled promptly and efficiently to provide proper corporate image and customer service.
