Strategic Responsibilities
- Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and risk management for Hamad International Airport
- Manage financial accounting, cash flow forecasting, and performance analysis to support expansion and operational targets
- Oversee treasury operations including liquidity optimization, investments, and working capital management
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and internal governance frameworks
- Guide capital expenditure planning and investment evaluations across business units
- Build and lead a high-performance finance team while fostering innovation, accountability, and integrity
- Present strategic financial insights to board members, government entities, and global stakeholders
- Identify financial risks (FX, interest rate, revenue fluctuations) and implement mitigation measures
- Drive financial process optimization through digital tools and cross-functional collaboration
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior finance roles, ideally within airports, airlines, infrastructure, or logistics
- Proven success in financial planning and strategic forecasting in complex business environments
- Sound understanding of aviation finance, regulatory frameworks, and capital project financing
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage at executive and board level
- Proficient in financial software systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel modeling
