Responsibilities
- Create high-quality visual effects for various aspects of the game, including characters, environments, and gameplay mechanics
- Collaborate with art and design teams to ensure visual effects align with the overall aesthetic and vision of the game
- Work with the technical team to ensure visual effects are optimized for performance on various platforms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques related to VFX
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance the overall quality of the game
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in VFX creation for video games or film
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine and other industry-standard software such as Maya, Houdini, or After Effects
- Strong understanding of particle systems, shaders, lighting, and other VFX techniques
- Excellent artistic skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in computer graphics, animation, or a related field preferred
