Veterinary Technician Jobs in Dubai at Rusty Veterinary Clinic
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostic procedures, and surgery.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia under veterinary supervision.
- Monitor and provide nursing care for hospitalized and post-operative patients.
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, blood collection, and in-house laboratory testing.
- Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs (X-rays).
- Maintain accurate medical records and controlled drug logs.
- Dispense medications and maintain pharmaceutical inventory.
- Collect, prepare, and process laboratory samples.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient care standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science or Veterinary Technician qualification.
- UAE Equivalency Certificate is mandatory.
