- Dispense veterinary medications accurately based on prescriptions from veterinarians
- Review prescriptions to ensure correct dosage, drug interactions, and species suitability
- Provide guidance to pet owners and livestock handlers on proper medication usage and storage
- Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines, including temperature-sensitive products
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and expiration monitoring
- Ensure compliance with veterinary pharmaceutical regulations and safety standards
- Prepare and label medications, including compounding when required
- Keep accurate records of dispensed medications and controlled substances
- Collaborate with veterinarians to support treatment plans and medication adjustments
- Educate clients on preventive care products such as vaccines, supplements, and parasite control
