THE ARK Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support our medical team and contribute to high standards of patient care and clinic operations.
This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic, strong work discipline, and the ability to perform efficiently in a structured, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
- Support grooming procedures and maintain hygiene of pets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, treatment areas, and equipment
- Perform general cleaning duties to ensure a consistently sanitary environment
- Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery when required
- Provide professional and compassionate support to pet owners
- Drive company vehicle for pet pick-up and drop-off services when required
- Support overall clinic workflow and assist other departments as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Veterinary Assistant (mandatory)
- Experience in a veterinary clinic preferred
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
- Strong understanding of animal handling and clinic hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and evenings
