Job Description:
Taking command of the vessel and its crew
Leading and motivating the vessel crew on familiarisation and compliance with the safety management system
Induction training of visitors, employees and other authorised personnel
Managing crew discipline, dealing with issues as appropriate and escalating to local management where required
Overseeing navigation and managing the operation of ships at sea, in port and at anchor
