Verifier of Medical Records Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Gulf International Medical Services
We are hiring staff to do verification of Medical records in our Electronic Medical Records system.
The EMR Records Verifier is responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of electronic medical records (EMR) for patients receiving homecare services. The role supports high-quality, person-centered care by ensuring documentation meets regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards, including Department of Health (DOH) and CARF requirements.
Key Responsibilities:1. EMR Review & Verification
- Review patient electronic medical records for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Verify clinical documentation including assessments, care plans, progress notes, medication administration records, and physician orders.
- Ensure all entries are properly authenticated (signed, dated, timed).
2. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure documentation complies with:
- DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) regulations
- CARF Accreditation Standards
- Organizational policies and procedures
- Identify non-compliance, missing documentation, or discrepancies and report accordingly.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and administrative staff to resolve documentation gaps.
- Provide feedback and guidance to clinical staff regarding proper documentation practices.
- Escalate critical documentation issues to the Quality/Compliance team.
4. Audit & Quality Improvement
- Participate in internal audits and quality assurance activities.
- Maintain logs of reviewed records, errors identified, and corrective actions taken.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives by identifying trends in documentation issues.
5. Data Integrity & Confidentiality
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in line with data protection regulations.
- Ensure EMR data integrity and prevent unauthorized access or alterations.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
