The Venture Development Lead is responsible for driving end-to-end execution of the venture building process—from white-space ideation to product launch and fundraising. Acting as an interim CEO for select ventures, the role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across business model design, product development, market validation, and investor readiness. This position also plays a central role in stakeholder management, venture operations, and technical execution, ensuring that all aspects of each venture are managed with discipline, innovation, and strategic foresight.

Key Responsibilities:

Venture Building Process Design

Lead the implementation of the venture building process from early ideation through to carve-out or scale.

Serve as interim CEO for ventures during their early stages, responsible for cross-functional leadership and decision-making.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and refine each venture’s strategic direction.

Venture Development

Evaluate and develop venture concepts with co-founders and functional teams.

Analyze business models, revenue streams, and customer feedback across different industries

Lead market analysis, MVP testing, and the development of go-to-market strategies.

Support hypothesis testing and iterate based on market signals and operational feedback.

Venture Support & Oversight

Provide responsive support to address urgent venture needs using creative problem-solving and agile decision-making.

Ensure key deliverables are met throughout the venture lifecycle and report progress to leadership.

Oversee carve-out planning and assist in preparing ventures for funding, including documentation and due diligence.

Product & Technical Development

Guide agile product development and prioritize product features in alignment with business strategy.

Work with tech teams to address challenges related to infrastructure, security, and regulatory compliance.

Engage in architecture and software development decisions to ensure product scalability and robustness.

Key Qualification:

At least 4 years of experience in a startup, corporate innovation lab, or entrepreneurial setting.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Proven track record in venture building, business development, and delivering financial results.

Strong background in project management, venture operations, and fundraising.

Experience in financial modeling, valuation, private equity, or VC investment.

Demonstrated success in managing multi-stakeholder environments and complex negotiations.

Knowledge of forecasting models, quantitative analysis, and innovation frameworks is an advantage.
