We are seeking a motivated, organized, and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in the coffee industry and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As a Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and driving sales while upholding company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas and support staff.
Schedule shifts and manage employee performance.
Foster a positive and productive work environment to ensure high employee morale.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure all customers are provided with excellent service and a high-quality coffee experience.
Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Build strong relationships with regular customers and encourage a welcoming atmosphere.
Operations & Inventory Management:
Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and adherence to operational standards.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels to prevent shortages or waste.
Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and in good working condition.
Financial Management & Reporting:
Assist with budget management, including tracking expenses and ensuring profitability.
Monitor sales, labor costs, and daily cash flow.
Implement cost-control measures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all food safety and health regulations are adhered to.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all areas of the shop, including food preparation areas, dining areas, and restrooms.
Marketing & Promotion:
Work with marketing teams to create promotions and special events to increase customer traffic.
Ensure that the coffee shop maintains a strong online presence, engaging with customers on social media and review platforms.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Coffee Shop Manager, or in a similar managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, customer service, and food safety standards.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of financial reports, budgeting, and cost control.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Barista certification or related training.
Previous experience with inventory management and ordering systems.
Knowledge of local and national coffee industry trends.
