Vehicle Maintenance Foreman Jobs in Al Wakrah, Qatar at Amentum
The Vehicle Maintenance Foreman supervises all aspects of reconstitution, preservation, and maintenance of USAF vehicle assets. Carries out all duties in accordance with USAF mandatory requirements. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Principal Accountabilities
Ensures reconstitution, preservation, and inspection goals are attained.
Ensures work is carried out in accordance with priorities, goals, and schedules.
Ensures Limited Technical Inspections (LTI’s) are performed within prescribed guidelines.
Supervises the inspection and preparation of USAF vehicle assets for air, land, and sea movement.
Maintains safety practices and housekeeping standards at the highest level.
Ensures all tools and equipment are serviceable, accounted for, and secured.
Stores and disposes of all hazardous materials following Amentum SOPs and host country regulations.
Responsible for parts research quality and requests only required repair parts, considering local availability.
Oversees TCTO actions and service bulletins to ensure timely completion.
Ensures prompt and correct completion of work orders.
Uses DPAS management reports to effectively manage the WRM fleet.
Performs complete inspections on all repaired vehicles to ensure quality.
Returns unused serviceable parts to supply and manages DIFM account by turning over XF3 parts.
Verifies VDP decisions and monitors cannibalization requirements.
Inspects subcontractor work quality and reports deficiencies.
Monitors staff performance, training, and adequacy.
Recommends or provides additional training as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Works in office, maintenance shop, warehouse, and may work outdoors for extended periods.
Minimum Requirements
Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Capable of operating and repairing light to heavy military and commercial vehicles.
Knowledge of diagnostic programs like Cummins INSITE, CAT, OBD scanners.
Good organizational and communication skills, especially with subordinates.
Valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation license.
May operate material handling equipment.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Recognized qualification in vehicle maintenance at a higher level.
Seven years of military vehicle repair experience.
Two years in a supervisory role.
May be exposed to extreme noise; proper PPE required.
