Job Description: HR Admin & Performance Management Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented HR Admin & Performance Management Manager to oversee both the human resources administration and the implementation of a 360-degree performance management system within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing sales teams, setting and achieving targets, motivating and training team members, as well as having solid knowledge in the chemical and solvent manufacturing industry. This role will drive organizational success by ensuring that performance management systems are efficiently administered, while simultaneously providing leadership in sales and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration & Operations:
Oversee all HR administrative functions including record-keeping, compliance, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Manage and maintain employee data, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in HR systems.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Support payroll processing, benefits management, and employee queries.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively executed within the manufacturing environment.
360-Degree Performance Management System:
Design, implement, and manage a robust 360-degree performance management system for all employees, especially within the sales teams.
Establish performance metrics that align with organizational goals, and communicate expectations clearly to all staff.
Monitor performance progress and provide continuous feedback, coaching, and support to employees, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct performance appraisals and manage the performance review cycle, ensuring fairness, consistency, and transparency across the organization.
Sales Team Leadership & Target Achievement:
Lead, motivate, and manage sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets in line with the company’s goals.
Collaborate with sales leadership to set clear, measurable targets for the team and ensure alignment with overall organizational strategy.
Provide training and development to ensure the team is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to perform at their highest potential.
Utilize in-depth knowledge of solvents and chemicals to guide the team in delivering value-based sales strategies and improving their product knowledge.
Training & Development:
Identify skills gaps and design training programs to improve both technical product knowledge and soft skills within the team.
Regularly assess training needs and provide opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Ensure training programs are effective in helping employees meet their performance goals and objectives.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate closely with other departments, including operations, sales, and management, to ensure smooth communication and goal alignment across teams.
Work with senior management to analyze performance data and make strategic recommendations for improvements.
Provide HR and performance insights to leadership, suggesting initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field (preferably with HR or Sales management specialization).
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an HR or performance management role, preferably within the manufacturing or chemicals industry.
Skills:
Extensive experience in leading sales teams and implementing performance management systems, particularly the 360-degree feedback process.
Strong understanding of the chemicals and solvents industry, with the ability to incorporate product knowledge into team training and sales strategies.
Expertise in HR administration and operations, with a deep understanding of employee lifecycle management.
Proven ability to set targets, track performance, and implement strategies that drive results.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and performance management best practices.
Proficient in HRIS software and performance management tools.
