About the Role
We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team at Sunreef Yachts. The ideal candidate will have experience in piping and routing using SolidWorks, with a preference for those who have worked in the marine industry. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing various onboard systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement piping and routing for different systems in yachts using SolidWorks.
Develop and validate 3D models and 2D drawings for system installation.
Collaborate with other departments (composite, electrical, naval architecture, production) to integrate systems efficiently.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Support the production team during installation and assembly phases.
Conduct technical analysis and propose optimized solutions for system layouts.
Requirements:
Experience in piping and routing (preferably in the marine industry).
Proficiency in SolidWorks (including routing module).
Strong understanding of marine systems and engineering principles.
Ability to read and create technical schematics and diagrams.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in yacht or shipbuilding projects.
Knowledge of marine regulations and classifications.
Hands-on experience with system integration and production support.
