A. LPO posting:
1. Creating award entry and sales order.
2. Checking expiries in all locations while posting.
3. Checking with customer short expiry items acceptability.
4. If expiry not acceptable forwarding mail to division manager for approval to supply with longer expiry, upon approval reserving longer expiry in Sales order.
5. Changing of warehouse according to stock availability.
6. Changing of schedule ship date according to LPO shipping date.
7. If stock not available creating PR.
8. If there is a coming order reserving against that PO.
9. in case of price difference informing customer about actual price and advising to amend the LPO and resend.
10. In case of payment issue informing accounts about receipt of the LPO and after reply from (once account hold release) proceeding further with the order.
11. If accounts doesn’t reply in a day putting reminders and also checking in system regularly if hold is release or not.
12. In urgent cases also informing customer (through call) about standing payment (only after confirming with accounts).
13. Posting of complimentary orders.
14. Re-posting of return items upon customer request or store information.
B. Attending calls:
1. Attending customer and internal calls.
2. Updating customers with their orders (non-arability of stock, arrival period of new shipment, which items will be supplied).
3. Updating customer with delivery status only after checking with dispatch.
4. Updating product specialist with delivery status (only if they ask).
5. Advising stock status to customers and product specialist (on their request).
C. Counter / Cash customers:
1. Following up for advance payment (for non-stock items).
2. Calling customer for delivery location (orders which comes from product specialist).
3. Informing customer invoice amount and advising to keep payment ready before delivery.
D. follow up of deliveries:
1. coordinating directly with picking department and dispatch for delivery status (through calls and mails).
2. If delivery is going from Deira store coordinating with both dispatch (DIP from where goods will come and Deira from where goods will be delivered).
3. In urgent cases regularly coordinating with dispatch and pushing them for delivery.
E. Standing LPO’s:
1. upon request of customer for supply against their standing order.
2. Splitting of lines as per requested qty.
3. Changing of warehouse (as per stock availability).
4. Changing of schedule date.
5. And forwarding same to store with all detail mentioned (SO no, qty & location).
Qualifications
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in any subject
Minimum of 2 years’ experience
Interpersonal skills
Communication Skills
Computer knowledge
