Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join our growing U.S. Medical Billing operations team in Amman, Jordan. In this role, you will receive training to manage and ensure healthcare providers are properly credentialed and enrolled with commercial and government insurance plans, helping to support uninterrupted patient care and timely reimbursement. Key Responsibilities:
- Provider Enrollment: Manage the full credentialing and re-credentialing process for U.S. physicians and allied healthcare providers across multiple practice groups.
- System Maintenance: Perform ongoing maintenance and attestations on platforms including CAQH, PECOS, Availity, and state Medicaid portals.
- Document Verification: Collect, review, and organize essential provider credentials including state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice insurance, board certifications.
- Expiration Tracking: Proactively monitor credential expiration dates to ensure zero lapses in provider billing capabilities.
- Payer Outreach: Research payer-specific requirements, conduct professional phone and email outreach to follow up on pending applications, and resolve credentialing issues directly with U.S. insurance carriers.
- Payer & Roster Updates: Assist with provider group additions, terminations, and demographic updates, ensuring providers are properly linked to payer contracts.
- Reporting: Build and maintain detailed credentialing logs across multiple provider groups.
- Contract Management: Analyze and interpret complex U.S. payer contracts, rules, and policy guidelines, ensuring the team remains informed and aligned with active payer requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Update internal billing and practice management teams by sharing network status updates and clarifying contract guidelines.
- Compliance & Confidentiality: Maintain credentialing records while ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA and U.S. healthcare privacy regulations.
