Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Manager to join our team and oversee data quality, integrity, and reporting across multiple educational programs. The ideal candidate will manage complex datasets, create actionable reports, and support decision-making through meaningful analysis and visualizations. The role involves working closely with project managers and training teams to track school participation, monitor program progress, and ensure data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., school registration data, training attendance, etc.)
Conduct cross-data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and insights
Design dashboards and generate periodic reports to support project planning and evaluation
Compare participation data across programs to identify gaps (e.g., schools that have not attended training)
Present data visually using charts, graphs, and dashboards to non-technical stakeholders
Maintain up-to-date databases with strong naming, tagging, and categorization standards
Work collaboratively with project and operations teams to support reporting requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization (minimum 2 years preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio)
Experience with cross-referencing multiple datasets and reporting discrepancies
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the education or training sector
Familiarity with school-level data or educational program reporting
Knowledge of basic programming for data (e.g., Python, R) is a plus
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards)
