Salary: AED 18,000 – AED 20,000 per month
Existing UAE Trust Lawyer with AML/CFT experience is highly preferred.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trust Lawyer to join our growing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Trust Division through legal drafting, trust administration, regulatory compliance, risk management, and trust product development.
This role requires a strong understanding of Trust Law, Fiduciary Services, Corporate Structures, and UAE AML/CFT compliance requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesTrust & Legal Advisory
- Draft, review, and amend Trust Deeds, Trust Agreements, and other trust-related legal documentation.
- Develop, maintain, and update legal precedents, templates, and standard documentation for the Trust Division.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on trust structures, trust products, fiduciary arrangements, and related corporate matters.
- Support the establishment and administration of trust structures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting trusts, fiduciary services, and international wealth structuring.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Support AML/CFT compliance requirements in line with UAE regulations and applicable Free Zone requirements.
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Assist with goAML reporting requirements where necessary.
- Participate in AML audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance checks.
- Support the development and maintenance of compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, and regulatory manuals.
Operations & Product Development
- Support the preparation and review of trust accounts and related documentation.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of trust products and services.
- Stay informed on international tax developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices relevant to trust structures.
- Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on trust law, trust products, compliance requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
- Proven experience in Trust Law, Fiduciary Services, Private Client Services, Corporate Services, or Financial Services Law.
- Experience drafting and reviewing trust-related legal documentation and supporting trust structures.
- Strong understanding of UAE AML/CFT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exposure to AML audits, CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, compliance reviews, and goAML reporting.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal documentation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Must be based in the UAE.
- Russian language proficiency (spoken and written) is required.
