Role Purpose

Responsible for varied treasury activities, such as daily and long- term cash flow forecasting, verifying interest charges and earnings, and using specialized treasury software applications.

Direct a variety of tax-related activities in accordance with the overall tax strategy to ensure that the organization meets its tax obligations and objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for receipt, custody, control, and disbursement of funds and securities, and supervisingThe organization s banking, credit, and investment functions.
  • Meet the organization s treasury objectives.
  • Analyse general business and financial developments that may affect the organization. Accountable for
  • the sub-function and providing the highest level of advice and recommendations to the management team.
  • Plan the short-term financial requirements; negotiate, administer, and repay loans; maintain cash management programs; conduct financial feasibility studies; prepare annual financial reports; and participate in the
  • financial planning process.
  • Perform analysis of cash flow, credit conditions, and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Performs detailed account reconciliation and analysis of accounting transactions.
  • Analyze and interpret VAT regulations and prepare required VAT reports so that the organization meets its
  • tax obligations and objectives.
  • Supports audits by researching accounting transactions.
  • Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time. Advise senior management on tax matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization.
  • Select, and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors (for example, tax advisors) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Consolidate and report financial and business information to management and, if appropriate, to external parties. Assist with ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Coordinate with banks for issuance, amendment, and closure of LCs and bank guarantees.
  • Monitor daily bank transactions and ensure timely recording and escalation of anomalies.
  • Support in preparing documentation and data required for renewal or enhancement of banking limits.
  • Assist in bank KYC submissions by gathering, organizing, and filing required company documents.
  • Maintain trackers for LCs, guarantees, credit lines, and facility utilization.
