We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Supervisor to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in treasury management, particularly within the construction sector. The Treasury Supervisor will be responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, bank relationships, financial risk, and ensuring liquidity for ongoing and future projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily cash flow of the group, ensuring adequate liquidity for ongoing operations and project financing.
Oversee the processing and management of cheque payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Manage the group’s bank guarantees, ensuring that all required guarantees are in place for projects and contracts.
Handle overdraft facilities, maintaining communication with financial institutions and ensuring efficient cash management practices.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for the group.
Provide senior management with financial insights and guidance on performance, risks, and opportunities.
Maintain and foster relationships with external financial institutions, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and manage the financial health of the group, identifying opportunities for cost control and increased efficiency.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, particularly related to cash flow management and financing arrangements.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Assist in strategic financial planning by providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations.
Supervise and lead the finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of proven experience in treasury or financial management, in the construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CFA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are a plus).
Strong knowledge of cash flow management, banking operations, and financial instruments.
Experience with managing bank guarantees, overdraft facilities, and financing arrangements.
Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and act on financial data.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations and banking practices.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED9,000.00 per month
