Role Overview
We are looking for a Treasury Expert to own day-to‑day banking operations and act as a domain owner in non‑standard and complex scenarios. This role requires strong independent judgment, structured problem‑solving, and clear communication with internal stakeholders and external banks. The role is an individual contributor position with high autonomy and accountability, rather than a task‑execution role.
Key Responsibilities
Banking & Treasury Operations
- Own end‑to‑end banking operations, including account management, payment flows, and
- Handle non‑routine and exception scenarios independently, including bank queries, operational deviations, and escalations.
- Proactively assess risks, impacts, and downstream implications of banking‑related issues.
Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Frame issues with clear background, root cause analysis, impact assessment, and actionable recommendations.
- Propose multiple solution options where applicable, with a clear rationale for recommended decisions.
- Make informed decisions within scope and clearly articulate reasoning and trade‑offs.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to Finance leadership, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams.
- Engage directly with banks and external partners to drive resolution and outcomes.
- Ensure timely and explicit responses in fast‑moving or ambiguous situations.
Ownership & Process Improvement
- Take full ownership of outcomes rather than relying on step‑by‑step guidance.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement.
- Document learnings and best practices into reusable SOPs or guidelines.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 5‒8+ years of experience in treasury, banking operations, payments, or financial operations.
- Strong ability to operate independently in ambiguous or non‑standard scenarios.
- Demonstrated capability in structured problem‑solving and decision‑making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining context and rationale.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated financial services, fintech, or crypto‑related environments.
- Prior exposure to multi‑entity or multi‑jurisdiction banking structures.
- Hands‑on experience dealing directly with banks on operational or compliance matters.

- Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
- Clear communicator who builds trust through logic and transparency.
- High ownership mindset with low dependency on managerial intervention.
