As we continue to expand in Qatar, we are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our finance team in Al Wakrah.
Position Overview
The Treasury Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and banking activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, financial discipline, and the ability to ensure optimal cash management to support operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash flow, bank balances, and liquidity positions
- Prepare cash forecasts and support short- and long-term financial planning
- Manage bank transactions, reconciliations, and account maintenance
- Ensure timely processing of payments, transfers, and financial obligations
- Maintain accurate treasury records and supporting documentation
- Assist in optimizing working capital and minimizing financial risk
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for operational requirements
- Support month-end closing and treasury reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in treasury, banking, or accounting roles
- Strong understanding of cash management and financial instruments
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
